Facelifting is a surgical method of facial rejuvenation by means of correction of age-related skin changes and, if necessary, deep structures of the face and subcutaneous tissue.
Facelifting before and after
A facelift surgery often includes the so-called SMAS lifting, which involves lifting of the muscles and the connective tissue located under the skin and fatty tissue. Such lifting allows you to get more pronounced and lasting effect.
The lifting can be done on the upper, middle, lower zones of the face. Simultaneous tightening of all zones is a circular face lift or facelifting.
Types of facial rejuvenation according to the correction area:
- Eye lift.
- Brow and forehead lift.
- Mid face lift.
- Lower face and neck lift.
- Lift of the lower 2/3 of the face.
An endoscopic face lift is fit for young and middle age patients with a slight tissue ptosis and without a large amount of excess skin. In most cases, it is used for the upper and middle zones of the face. The surgery is done with the help of a special tool – an endoscopic equipment. Endoscopic lifting has the following advantages: minimal invasiveness, a short rehabilitation period, the possibility of using it in several areas of the face simultaneously.
